You are the face of Eurostar; a guide for our customers, the first person they see when they start their journey with us. Your uniform is the identity of the company, it helps our customers to recognise you when they need help or directions; which is why it is really important that you wear it the right way, and which is why it is essential you feel good in it. Your uniform has been created to represent the Eurostar brand as much as to be comfortable to wear and practical for work. Your uniform has evolved throughout the years and will keep on evolving. Our dress code is designed to respect all gender identities and expressions. CARING FOR YOUR UNIFORM We have designed the uniform to make it as easy as possible for you to look after it. You are responsible for keeping your uniform in good condition and the care instruction section will help you to do so. Please make sure that missing buttons are replaced, and unstitched hems repaired as soon as possible. We provide a repair service via our uniform supplier using our online ordering website. TO AND FROM WORK AND DURING BREAKS When travelling to and from work in uniform, make sure you remove your name badge, lanyard and any items with the Eurostar logo. This also applies whilst you’re on breaks. Whenever you’re in uniform, it is essential to look professional. Whilst on duty, please make sure you are discreet while eating and drinking hot beverage wherever our customers might see you. Smoking in uniform, including electronic cigarettes, is not permitted. Drinking alcohol after duty while wearing the uniform is also prohibited. RETURNING YOUR UNIFORM TO EUROSTAR All items of your uniform are the property of Eurostar. Please note that you are responsible for returning all uniform items when you leave the company, and charges will apply if you fail to do so.
